Cancellation &Refund Policy

1. Cancellations by the Customer

If you need to cancel your booking for adventure activities or hotel stays, the following standard refund policy applies unless otherwise specified in your booking agreement:

• More than 14 days before arrival: Full refund minus any applicable bank or administrative charges.
• 7 to 14 days before arrival: 50% refund of the total booking value.
• Less than 7 days before arrival: No refund will be issued.

2. Cancellations by Us (Weather & Safety)

Your safety is our absolute priority. Adventure Base Camp Miyora reserves the right to cancel or alter any activity due to extreme weather conditions, unsafe water levels on the Kelani River, or other unforeseen safety hazards.

In the event that we must cancel your activity prior to commencement due to safety reasons, you will be offered a full refund for that specific activity or the option to reschedule to an alternative date/activity.

3. No Shows and Late Arrivals

If you fail to arrive for your scheduled activity or accommodation ("No Show"), you will forfeit the full booking amount. No refunds will be provided.

Activities operate on a strict schedule. If you arrive significantly late, we may not be able to accommodate you, and the booking will be treated as a No Show.

4. Hotel vs. Activity Bookings

If your booking includes both accommodation (Hotel Miyora) and adventure activities, a cancellation of the activities due to weather (Section 2) does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the hotel stay. Hotel cancellation policies (Section 1) operate independently unless stated otherwise in a packaged deal.

5. Processing Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment within 7-14 business days. Bank transfer times may vary depending on your institution.
